Peter Zumthor's famous designs in important tourist destinations

What does the Kodumba Art Museum in Cologne, Germany, the Kensthaus Bregenz in Austria and the Saint Benedict Chapel in Switzerland , and the Thermal Bath at Vals in Switzerland have in common? These extraordinary marvels of arechitectue were created by Swiss Architect Peter Zumthor, who runs an office with a modest 15 people at Haldenstein in the swiss mountains. He will be the proud recipient of this year's Pritzker's Prize - the nobel equivalent of Architecture. He wil receive the award in Buenos Aires on May 29. Presented by the Hyatt Foundation, the prize carries a grant of $ 100000 and a bronze medallion.

Tourists heading to Germany, Austria and Switzerland may have a look at these buildings to see the genius in Peter Zumthor.
